Alien Romance, the daily comic strip

I know I should wait until I have the next part done, but I'm really running on fumes right now. Did I say I was struggling before? Haha, just you wait. Even with the toned-down holidays, I'm about to feel stretched to breaking.

I'm still doing much better than at many points in the recent past. Gotta remember that. The more I can stretch myself out, the more I do. I'll never feel like I'm keeping up with my own pace. Such is the nature of chronic illness.

Commentary time. Ella has laundry and is stepping over Jon, who is doing stretch exercises on the floor. The front door opens and Maurice enters. Ella's face lights up and she exclaims, "Just the person I want to see!"

It's just setup for the rest of the scene.
